Adjusting the Skin Tone of Your Character

You can adjust the skin tone of your character by either selecting one of the preset skin tones, or you can make your own.

  1. Open either a project you have created yourself, or one of the existing template projects. Do this by clicking the Project iClone project Adjusting the Skin Tone of Your Character button and double clicking one of the projects in the file manager pane. If you saved a project after reading the previous tutorial, use that project. Remember, your custom projects are in the Custom tab, and the predefined template projects are in the Template tab.

  2. When the project has loaded, either click the Avatar iClone character Adjusting the Skin Tone of Your Character button and the Skin iClone skin Adjusting the Skin Tone of Your Character button; or click the Skin Tone option in the drop down menu.

  3. From the Template tab in the file manager pane, double-click a skin tone to use for your character.

The skin tone you selected is applied to your character. To adjust your new skin tone, select the Modify tab.

You can adjust the color components of the skin tone using the upper three sliders. Use the lower four sliders to adjust brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation.
