Example – Puppeteer (Character to Character)

You may also link a character to a character to create interesting animation since the former character will move along with the motion of the latter one.

  1. Press Ctrl + F7. Click the Add button to add a new character.

  1. Modify the face, pose, and size of the character so it turns out to be a puppet.

  1. In the Modify page, use the Link to drop down list to assign linkage to the puppeteer.

  1. Click the Link Node iClone mod%20link Example   Puppeteer (Character to Character) button to invoke the Link to Sub-Node dialog box.

  2. Select the Hand node of the puppeteer character and check the Align Position to Parent box, Click OK button.

The Puppet’s position is wrong.

  1. You may want to adjust the puppet so it is placed at the proper position of the puppeteer’s palm.

  1. Assign the puppeteer a motion.

  2. Play the project.
